{"id":9229,"date":"2026-09-24T10:05:21","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T08:05:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southeast.mk\/2026\/09\/24\/firedefend-visit-to-the-pilot-site-in-the-municipality-of-bosilovo\/"},"modified":"2026-09-25T13:24:12","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T11:24:12","slug":"firedefend-visit-to-the-pilot-site-in-the-municipality-of-bosilovo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southeast.mk\/en\/2026\/09\/24\/firedefend-visit-to-the-pilot-site-in-the-municipality-of-bosilovo\/","title":{"rendered":"FIREDEFEND | Visit to the Pilot Site in the Municipality of Bosilovo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">As part of the <strong>FIREDEFEND \u2013 \u201cFire Detection and Enhanced Fire Emergency Network for Waste Disposal\u201d<\/strong> project, the project partners carried out a <strong>technical field visit to the proposed pilot site in the Municipality of Bosilovo<\/strong>, where a modern <strong>early fire detection and monitoring system<\/strong> is planned to be installed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">During the visit, the partners were welcomed by the <strong>Mayor of the Municipality of Bosilovo, Mr Risto Manchev<\/strong>, who highlighted the importance of the project in strengthening fire prevention and ensuring a timely response to fire-related risks at the local level, as well as the importance of cooperation between local institutions and project partners.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The technical site visit provided an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the potential location for the installation of the system, assess the technical and site-specific conditions, and jointly discuss the next steps towards the implementation of the pilot action.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The visit brought together representatives of the <strong>Regional Association of Solid Waste Management Agencies of Central Macedonia (FODSA), Greece<\/strong>, the <strong>Centre for Development of the South-East Planning Region<\/strong>, representatives of the <strong>Municipality of Bosilovo<\/strong>, as well as technical experts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Through joint field assessment, exchange of experience and cross-border cooperation, FIREDEFEND continues its efforts towards establishing more effective mechanisms for <strong>early fire detection, prevention and timely response to fire-related risks<\/strong> across the cross-border area. \ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\uddf7\ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\uddf0<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>FIREDEFEND project<\/strong> is co-funded by the <strong>European Union through the Interreg VI-A IPA Greece \u2013 North Macedonia Programme 2021\u20132027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the FIREDEFEND \u2013 \u201cFire Detection and Enhanced Fire Emergency Network for Waste Disposal\u201d project, the project partners carried out a technical field visit to the proposed pilot site in the Municipality of Bosilovo, where a modern early fire detection and monitoring system is planned to be installed.
