Tourist trail from nature to culture on Plavush Mountain

The tourist path is located near the town of Valandovo on Plavush Mountain. This place is mostly visited from the locals, and very often from small groups and individual travelers from neighboring regions and states. The existing road is also used from the locals for outdoor activities, such as hiking and cycling. This project will not only affect the enrichment of the tourist offer and the development of tourism in the region, but also the economic development in the South-East planning region. With the arrangement of this place, the local residents will have the opportunity to offer certain catering services, accommodation for visitors, organizing sports activities and events for which they could provide financial benefits. With the construction of the path, the extension of the road, the resorts, the information boards, the places with the fitness equipment, the children’s playground and the installation of a telescope on the tower, as well as parking for motor vehicles, this place will be visited by local and foreign tourists. This will also help in the tourism and economic development of the Municipality of Valandovo and the whole region.

Objectives of the project:
– Arranging the path on Plavush Mountain;
– Expansion of the existing road;
– Reconstruction of resting resorts with parking’s;
– Adaptation of the pedestrian and bicycle path;
– Increasing the tourist offer.
