Dojran – Mediterranean pearl in the South-East

Short description of the project

This project envisages the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the existing path along the Dojran Lake, which has a total length of 5 km and includes mechanical cleaning of the terrain with trees, roots and rubble, removal of the paving slabs with cleaning and reinstallation of the same, concreting of several damaged parts of concrete retaining walls, marking of horizontal and vertical signage, installation of new benches for seating and new waste bins. With the reconstruction of the pedestrian and bicycle path, a modern appearance will be obtained and the conditions offered by the municipality of Dojran as an important tourist destination will be improved.

The main objective of the project is the development of new tourist attractions, in order to attract a larger number of tourists and visitors, which will directly affect the enrichment of the tourist offer, the development of tourism in the region, and indirectly the economic development of the entire South-East region.
