Agriculture is one of the dominant sectors of the local economy and plays an important role in generating household income within the South-East planning region. Since the South-East region is characterized by a variable climate is it obvious that the agricultural sector is the most vulnerable of climate changes.
In the past years, frequent weather disasters have been reported that are causing enormous damages to agriculture. A major risk of climate change is the appearance of diseases on the vegetables and fruits growing in the region. The farmers face with difficulties in adapting to climate change, ignorance and outdated methods of managing agricultural crops because they do not have the necessary resources. All this can cause ineffective environmental management. Therefore, there is a need for new methods in order to take appropriate measures at an appropriate time.
