Creative Entrepreneurship Network

Short description of the project

The project will contribute to the main goal of intensifying cross-border cooperation between people and institutions in the region in order to jointly address common challenges and exploit untapped potentials by creating an environment in which creativity will be unleashed, especially among the young population, to develop tools such as mobile creative studios/workshops in local communities as well as entrepreneurial skills to unleash the potential of the creative industries.

Selection of participants – 40 Bulgarian and 40 Macedonian participants will be selected; 6 mobile studios/workshops will be established; Creative Forum in Strumica – for 20 Macedonian and 20 Bulgarian participants – for creative ideas and creative networking and cooperation; capacity building for creative ideas and entrepreneurship – training for 10 Macedonian and 10 Bulgarian trainers “on the development of creative products” and creative workshops and trainings on film and video production for 10 Macedonian and 10 Bulgarian participants, music workshop – 10 Bulgarian participants, mobile workshop for 40 participants on arts and crafts, on masks and costumes for 10 Macedonian participants and creative entrepreneurial training and opportunity for financing a creative business for 30 participants; creative fair in the area of ​​Blagoevgrad for 20 Bulgarian and 20 Macedonian, for the most active participants from the 6 creative workshops to make creative product prototypes; intensive training in an EU country – study visit and exchange of good practices; cross-border exhibition “Creativity and Entrepreneurship in Strumica” for presentation of the results and lessons learned.

Results

  • 10 MK and 10 BG trained local trainers to be leaders of mobile creative ateliers/workshops;
  • 10 MK and 10 BG creative people with skills and knowledge in making films and clips;
  • 10 BG creative people with skills and knowledge in making music products;
  • 20 MK and 20 BG creative people with skills and knowledge in making creative products;
  • 10 MK creative people with skills and knowledge in making masks and costumes;
  • 15 MK and 15 BG people with knowledge of creative entrepreneurship and the opportunity to finance a creative business idea
  • a joint film for the cross-border region and 8 short films/clips; 8 music products; 40 creative products from arts and crafts and masks and costumes; 8 simple business plans on how creative ateliers should work;
  • 6 EU good practices selected by 20 participants in the intensive learning,
  • 20 reports from participants with lessons learned about creative business and creative approaches that they would like to adapt in the region and community,
  • The exhibition “Creativity and Entrepreneurship” where all products and results were promoted.
