Development of an ecosystem for social entrepreneurship

The project results included training for stakeholders, establishment of a Cross-Border Steering Committee for SE, digital competence for disadvantaged groups, training on social entrepreneurship and social innovation, development of a social business idea, social leadership and marketing and business planning.

16 business plans for social businesses were created and presented to potential investors and stakeholders, the community and the media; 6 European good practices in SE were promoted in the cross-border region; an SE market was organized with 32 direct beneficiaries with practical skills for presenting business ideas and market planning; a cross-border SE conference was held with 50 stakeholders and feedback was provided by the Steering Committee for Networking and Ecosystem; a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation and networking was signed and a study visit to a social enterprise is being organized.
