The South-East Region is situated to the extreme southeastern part of the Republic of Macedonia, borders Greece to the south, the Republic of Bulgaria to the east, and the East and Vardar regions to the north and west. The road network in the South-East planning region can be assessed as moderately developed.
Evenly developed infrastructure, modern roads, and relatively safe conditions for traffic are the basis for accelerated sustainable development at local as well as at regional level in every area of human life. The purpose of this project is construction of a bridge on the road between
v. Borievo with v. Koleshino in length of 30.7 meters and a width of 6 meters.This bridge will create conditions for improved communication between residents of rural areas of the Municipalities of Bosilovo, Novo Selo,Strumica, easier transfer of agricultural products and improved accessibility to tourist localities under the Belasica Mountain region.
Objectives of the project:
- Construction of a bridge as a part of the road between the village Borievo and Koleshino;
- Adequate access of citizens to their homes, workplaces, school, agricultural areas and purchase centers;
- Improved access to tourist localities on the region under Belasica Mountain;
- Reducing road accidents in the region.
