Dojran is famous for its beautiful landscape with small arranged beaches rich with unique medicinal mud which is known beyond the borders of the country. However, part of the beaches due to natural disasters and other impacts are neglected, overgrown with cane and they can not be used. Therefore, it is necessary to undertake measures to clear and regulate them in order to exploit the full potential offered by Dojran Lake.
The arrangement of the location covered by this project extends from north to south from the resort “Tikves” of Elem Tours to the beach “Fuk Tak” in Sretenovo – Star Dojran, Municipality of Dojran, in total length of 350 meters. Near the beach a tourist settlement Mrdaja is located which is suitable for construction of tourist facilities, shops and other facilities. The purpose of this project is to provide conditions for arranging the sections of the coast where a pedestrian walkway was built, and due to the elevated water level of the lake was flooded and destroyed by the lake waves. Such surfaces should be cleaned from the remains of the path and the supporting wall towards the lake on which the embankment of the alignment
rests in order to create conditions for using such parts of the coastal lake beaches during the summer seasons.
This project will not only have an impact on the tourist offer and the development of tourism,but also on the overall economic development in the South-East planning region. With the arrangement and formation of this beach, local residents will have the opportunity to offer certain catering services, accommodation and traditional foods, which will increase benefits compared to previous years.
