Improving the Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings in the South-East Planning Region

This project envisages improving energy efficiency and reducing electricity consumption in public buildings in three municipalities: Bosilovo, Gevgelija and Radovish, namely:

– Reconstruction and adaptation of a public building at the regional primary school “Kiril i Metodij” in the village of Sekirnik – Municipality of Bosilovo, which includes reconstruction of the roof with the installation of photovoltaics, a new thermal facade, change of part of the internal and external carpentry, as well as construction of a sanitary facility within the school building, which will result in achieving savings in terms of electricity consumption and better conditions for students and employees;

– Reconstruction and adaptation of a public building, Sports Center “Partizan” – Municipality of Gevgelija, with reconstruction of the roof, change of carpentry (windows, doors) and an energy-efficient facade, which will enable normal functioning of the building, its heating and normal conditions in which sports activities can be carried out;

– Reconstruction and adaptation of a public building of the TPPE building – Radovish, where a complete reconstruction and adaptation of the TPPE building in the Municipality of Radovish with an area of ​​156 m2 is planned, with the replacement of the roof, carpentry (windows and doors) and an energy-efficient facade, which will result in reduced maintenance costs for the building, i.e. a reduction in the consumption of energy for heating and cooling, as well as improving working conditions.

The main objective of this project is to create an energy-efficient region through the reconstruction and adaptation of public buildings, primarily in the area of ​​saving, production and use of electricity through the improvement of the energy infrastructure and the use of renewable energy sources.
