Short description of the project
The “ToCulter” project has the general objective of creating a common tourist identity based on guided tours, specialized according to the identity of the location and through an innovative platform and networking activities for the development of promotional tourist packages in order to improve the cross-border tourist product and services and to strengthen tourism in the area.
The above objectives will be achieved through the development of a set of actions, such as: e-tools for improving the cross-border tourist product and services, digital signage networks, networking events for the media and tourist operators, creation of a Local Quality Agreement for tourism enterprises and activities (fairs/promotional events) carried out outside the Programme Area to strengthen the “local” tourist product on new domestic and foreign markets.
The results of the project will be used by direct beneficiaries and target groups, e.g. local population, tourists/visitors, local businesses in tourism and related sectors aiming to increase their income, local/regional authorities dealing with development planning in relation to tourism, senior citizens’ associations and tour operators.
