The aspiration towards competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy, which is capable of economic evelopment, creating more jobs and developing improved social cohesion, undoubtedly depends on the success of enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises – SMEs.Within this project a Regional Business Center will be formed that would allow improvement of the knowledge about the characteristics of entrepreneurship, increase of employment, improving of skills and business capacity of local producers, processors and traders.It will also create an opportunity to improve communication and cooperation between businesses, entrepreneurs, farmers, institutions and authorities related to the development of entrepreneurship among municipalities in the planning area, thus will affect the overall economic development in region.
Objectives of the project:
- Establish partnership and communication between small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurs, farmers
and other subjects; - Providing public service towards all business subjects and beyond by providing required information about:
– Opening new businesses
– improvement of businesses
– Introduction of innovations and technologies etc.
Results of the project
- Improved knowledge about the characteristics of entrepreneurship and employment in the regional
area; - Improved skills and business capacities of local manufacturers, processors and traders (farmers,
small industries); - Created communication for cooperation between businesses of entrepreneurs, farmers, and the
institutions and authorities related to the development of entrepreneurship in the region; - Better economic growth and creation of more workplaces in the South-East planning region.
