Reviving the timeless symbols of Dojran and Nevestino

Short description of the project

The project focuses on the main strengths and benefits of both regions. The results will be achieved through the implementation of activities for the conservation, restoration and reconstruction of cultural and historical monuments – the Clock Tower and the Turkish Bath in Dojran. Improvement of pedestrian paths for access to cultural and historical sites, rehabilitation and conservation of Kadin Bridge in Nevestino, promotion of tourism and production of promotional films about the cultural and historical heritage of both regions. Organization of artistic customs and a cross-border folklore fair. The restored cultural and historical sites will benefit both new visitors and the local population as end users, thus giving them greater opportunities to start (or continue existing) business initiatives related to tourism products and services.
