Shared entrepreneurial environment for creative youth

Short description of the project

The project is based on improving the capacities of young people in the cross-border region and opportunities for self-employment in the creative industry. The project is intended to develop a common methodology for engaging and building the capacities of young people; engaging employers with an advisory and mentoring function; encouraging entrepreneurship through events; creating 2 joint workspaces for the creative industry in Radovis and Goce Delchev.

The aim of the project is also to create incubators of the project to provide free workspace for photographers, architects, designers and other representatives of artistic and cultural work, as well as for business training and consultations. The project includes: developing skills and knowledge of young people – participants in the project for better opportunities for economic independence; supporting and motivating young people to start their own business in the creative industry sector and creating new job opportunities in the cross-border area; as well as exchanging best practices.

Results

  • Developed methodology for engagement and capacity building
    A common methodology has been created for effective engagement of young people and improvement of their capacities for self-employment and economic independence.
  • Trained young people
    Over 100 young people have been trained through specialized trainings and workshops, acquiring practical knowledge and skills for entrepreneurship in the creative industry.
  • Developed incubators for the creative industry
    Two modernly equipped workspaces (incubators) have been established in Radoviš and Goce Delchev, providing free space for work and creation for photographers, architects, designers and other representatives of creative professions.
  • Trained mentors and advisors
    Employers and professionals have been trained in mentoring and advising, providing continuous support for young entrepreneurs.
  • Organized entrepreneurship events
    At least 5 events have been held to promote and encourage entrepreneurial ideas, where young people presented their concepts and received feedback.
  • Trained entrepreneurs
    Participants acquired basic and advanced skills for starting and managing their own business, including project management, financial planning and marketing.
  • Developed economic opportunities
    New opportunities for self-employment and job creation were created, stimulating economic growth in the cross-border region.
  • Exchange of best practices ensured
    Through the exchange of experiences between participants from both countries, a platform for networking and sharing innovations in the creative industry was created.
  • Improved competitiveness of youth
    Trained young people gained competitive advantages, which enabled them to more easily enter the labor market and realize their professional ambitions.
