Short description of the project
Well-developed industrial zones are one of the most important preconditions for development of a region. These zones should have well based infrastructure and signalization that is to increase the attractiveness of the zone in front of the potential domestic and foreign investors. The SE planning region has 18 functional industrial zones. In addition to this, 10 more are in urbanization procedures. Therefore the region must undertake measures in subliming the offer of the developed industrial zones and to make joint efforts in their development and promotion as larger business destination.
The main objective of this project is to increase the economic development through increasing the investments in industrial zones in SEPR.
Objectives of the project:
- To create strong basis for improvement of the infrastructure of the industrial zones in SE region;
- Increase of the economic development through increase of investments in the industrial zones.

Results
- Overall overview and presentation of the condition with an access infrastructure and signalization in the industrial zones of the South-East Planning Region (SEPR);
- Introducing the potential investor with the national and regional polices and measures for support of the investment, as well as specifics of the existing industrial zones and their specifics;
- Awareness rising of the municipalities for integrated/regional presentation of the industrial zones in the region in the front of the domestic and foreign investor.
