On November 30, 2021 (Tuesday), in the municipality of Gevgelija, was held the second Session of the Council for Development of the South-East Planning Region.
The session was attended by the Mayors of the municipalities within the South-East Planning Region and the Director of the Center for Development of the South-East Region, Ms. Julieta Gjurkova.
At the session, Ms. Gjurkova presented to the audience all the steps taken and activities that have been done so far in cooperation with the municipalities within the projects “Construction of two shelters for homeless animals 1st and 2nd phase.” After an exhaustive discussion, all Mayors agreed that everyone in their municipality together with the administration, the population and the councilors should discuss the further functioning of the built shelter and then each municipality to give the conclusions at the next session of the Council for Development of SEPR.
Ms. Gjurkova also presented all the steps and activities taken for the construction of the regional landfill for the South-East Planning Region, the introduction of the regional integrated municipal solid waste management in the South-East Planning Region.
At this session, a decision was made to hand over a building (road) built within the project “Construction of the local road v. Zubovo junction with the road v. Novo Selo – v. Mokrievo “.
