THE ROAD TO THE SHELTER IN STRUMICA IS PUT IN USE

The construction activities following the project “Construction of an access road to the regional shelter for homeless dogs” have been finalized, which means that the road leading to the shelter for homeless animals in the municipality of Strumica is fully functional and has been put into use.

This road is of great importance for the municipality of Strumica, but also for the entire region. As a Center, we are particularly proud of this project because the shelter itself was built through a project implemented by the Centre for development of South-East planing region, which enabled the municipality of Strumica to acquire a shelter in accordance with all standards, which will continue to be used by other municipalities from the region. In this way, the shelter will smoothly perform the work for which it is intended.

With the opening of the shelter, the homeless dogs will get the opportunity for humane and warm care, and at the same time, the long-standing problem that torments the residents of this municipality will be solved.

With the project, in addition to the 561-meter long access road to the shelter, a parking space, green area, parterre and horticulture were arranged at the entrance of the shelter, benches for sitting, trash cans and evergreen trees were also planted.

The total budget of the project is MKD 4,261,600.00, and it is financed by the Bureau for balanced regional development and the municipality of Strumica.
