CULTURAL WEALTH – HERITAGE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS

This project envisages the reconstruction or extension of the facilities of three Cultural Centers in three municipalities in the South-East Planning Region, namely in the village of Moin – Municipality of Gevgelija, the village of Lubnica – Municipality of Konche and in Radovish, Municipality of Radovish.

 

TOURISM – THE FUTURE OF THE REGION!

Within the framework of this project, the following activities are planned:

– Construction of a 1050 m long sports and recreational trim trail and installation of urban equipment such as 15 wooden benches, 15 waste bins and parking at the beginning of the route in the village of Bosilovo, Municipality of Bosilovo;

CDSEPR HELD THE FIRST FORUM SESSION ON IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS FOR 2023

The Centre for the development of the South-East planning region held the first forum session on 09.11.2022 and announced the start of the process of Regional Forums in the community for the preparation of projects under the Program for Balanced Regional Development for 2023 of the Bureau of Regional Development.

The forum was attended by citizens from different categories from all 10 municipalities of the South-East planning region who had the opportunity to identify and define priority regional problems for each of the previously determined priority areas.

In order to improve life in the present region participants of the forum actively participated in determining the problems affecting the South-East region, discussed and generated solutions to overcome them.

The areas of Environmental Protection and Economy and Investments, Labor Market and Tourism were chosen as the most priority areas in which to intervene by the participants of this forum process.

In the following period, on the basis of the identified problems and challenges from the first forum session, conceptual solutions or proposals will be developed that will further be presented to the Council for Development of the South-East Planning Region as well as to the present participants of the second forum session.

The forum sessions are financially supported by the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation through the project “Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development – Phase 2”.

Firefighter’s and volunteer’s trainings continues in the South-East Region

Successfully completed the three two-day trainings in the Republic of Bulgaria, provided in the activities of the project “Cross-Border Cooperation in Forest Fire Fighting” financed by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Program for cross-border cooperation between R. Bulgaria and R. N.Macedonia 2014-2020, a project that the Centre for Development of the South-East Planning Region is implementing in partnership with the Association of South Western Municipalities, Blagovegrad, Republic of Bulgaria.

In the next period, the remaining three two-day specialized trainings will be held in the Republic of N.Macedonia, with a schedule of implementation:

Ø November 10-11, 2022 (fourth specialized training);

Ø November 24-25, 2022 (fifth specialized training);

Ø November 28-29, 2022 (sixth – final specialized training).

Firefighters and volunteers from the southwestern Bulgaria will have the opportunity together with their colleagues from the region to measure their strength through practical exercises on Mount Ograzhden, in a rescue operation in the building of the former Kasarna in Strumica, as well as a final competition and a final conference at which participants will be awarded certificates for participating in the six trainings.

The stories from the field and the exchange of experiences continue with increasing intensity

Part of the representatives of the volunteer and professional firefighters from the southeast of R.N Macedonia and the Southwestern of R. Bulgaria, on October 13 and 14, 2022, attended the second specialized training in Bansko, Republic of Bulgaria, which is one of six two-day specialized trainings planned as part of the activities of the project “Cross-Border Cooperation in Forest Fire Fighting”.

The first aid as a crucial moment in accidents is the topic that aroused the greatest interest on the participants who followed closely and attentively to renew their knowledge, but also to learn many new ones. The training was conducted by paramedic Mr. Vladimir Filkov, a member of the voluntary firefighting society from Blagoevgrad.


The firefighters spent the second day in the field with practical exercises and examples from the second thematic unit, which was conducted by Mr. Plamen Todorov, an inspector from the National Association of Volunteers in the Republic of Bulgaria. Firefighters and volunteers had the opportunity to work with the equipment which the territorial firefighting unit of Bansko works and disposes. The stories from the field and the exchange of experiences continue this time with increased intensity and interest from the participants in the training.


The trainings are part of the implementation of the project for “Cross-Border Cooperation in Forest Fire Fighting” financed by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Program for cross-border cooperation between R. North Macedonia 2014-2020, a project that the Centre for the Development of the South-East Planning Region is implementing in partnership with the Association of Southwestern Municipalities, Blagovegrad, Republic of Bulgaria.

THE XI (Eleventh) SESSION OF YPR DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL WAS HELD

On October 6, 2022, the eleventh session of the JIPR Development Council was held in the municipality of Gevgelija.

At this session, Decisions were made for the transfer of a footpath in the municipality of Dojran and the transfer of the access road to the regional station in the municipality of Strumica.

A Decision was also made for the election of a Director and the transfer of two vehicles for captured homeless animals to the municipality of Strumica.

19 young people from the region acquired skills for developing business plans

The seven-day trip within the Camp for young innovators and entrepreneurs 2022 ended with the presentation of 6 business plans that were prepared by all participants under the mentorship of professors from the area of the economy and business.

19 young people aged 18 to 29, through daily interactive lectures by eminent university professors, successful entrepreneurs and experts, acquired new knowledge and skills in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. Through working in groups and preparing the business plans, got acquainted with the basics of entrepreneurship, business communication as a crucial part in the business world and the establishment of your own businesses.

Apart from entrepreneurship trainings, motivational and entertaining ones were also organized activities where young people were able to hear successful life and business stories, tips for a healthy lifestyle in order to motivate and work on business ideas that the participants were expected to present at the final day of camp.

Time spent in education and entertainment, new knowledge acquired and pleasant atmosphere in this seven-day entrepreneurial trip were an incentive for these young people to express their desire and acquire the right to participate in the three-day Study trip to Greece, which is scheduled to take place in the next period within the project.

All participants of the camp received certificates of participation as well as a book titled “7 Habits of Successful People” by Stephen Covey which applies to the most respected motivator in the corporate world. The participants with the best business ideas will also receive free use of the Co-working space which is located in the premises of the Centre for development of the South-East planning region in Strumica.

The camp was organized to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of the youth in the region, the motive for cooperation, development of their business ideas in business plans, as well as active participation in the labor market.

The camp for young innovators and entrepreneurs 2022 was organized by the Centre for development of the South-East planning region in the period from 26.09-02.10.2022 within the project “Business ecosystem as integrated system – BE IN” financed through INTERREG IPA Programme for cross-border cooperation between Greece and the Republic of Macedonia.

With new experiences and good practices from the field, the firefighters completed the first specialized training

On September 29 and 30, 2022, in Bansko, Bulgaria, the firefighters and volunteers passed the first specialized training as part of the activities of the project “Cross-Border Cooperation in Forest Fire Fighting”. Around sixty participants from N. Macedonia and Bulgaria were part of the training which aim was enriching and expanding knowledge in dealing with forest fires.

The training and practical exercises were moderated and conducted by Mrs. Ralitsa Todorova, a certified trainer from the National Association of Volunteers in the Republic of Bulgaria and the Main Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection. Volunteers and professionals sat together at the table in order to share old, but also learn new knowledge and experiences from their colleagues. With the mutual exchange of “stories from the field” and through theoretical examples and analyses, as well as a demonstration in the field at the fire station in Bansko, the two days of the first module, which are just an announcement and the beginning of the upcoming specialized trainings, passed successfully. Six two-day trainings are planned to be realized, 3 of them will be held in the Republic of Bulgaria and 3 in the Republic of North Macedonia.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE SELECTION OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE CDSEPR

Based on Article 22 and Article 23 of the Law on Labor Relations (“Official Gazette of RSM” No. 62/2005, 106/2008, 161/2008, 114/2009, 130/2009, 50/ 10, 124/10, 47/11, 11/12, 39/12, 13/13, 25/13, 170/13, 187/13, 113/14, 20/15, 33/15, 72/15, 129/15, 27/16 and 120/18) and “Official Gazette of RSM” No. 110/19, 267/20, 151/21 and 288/21) and in accordance with Article 26 paragraph 8, paragraph 9, paragraph 10, paragraph 11, paragraph 13, article 27 paragraph 1 of the Law on balanced regional development (“Official Gazette of the RSM” no. 24/2021 and 174/21), as well as in accordance with article 2 of the Decision on announcing a public announcement for a director from the session of the Council for the Development of the South-East Planning Region, no. 08-302/8 of 22.07.2022, announces

ANNOUNCEMENT

For the election of the Director of the Centre for the Development of the South-East Planning Region – 1 executor for a fixed period of time for a period of 4 years.

A person  who can be elected as the director of the Center must fulfills the following conditions:

– to be a citizen of the Republic of North Macedonia,

– at the time of the appointment by a final court judgment, a fine or misdemeanor sanction has not been imposed on him, a ban on performing a profession, activity or duty ,

– to have acquired at least 240 credits according to ECTS, i.e. completed VII/1 degree education in the field of legal, economic or technical sciences,

– to have work experience of at least five years, of which at least two years with management of development projects in the field of local and regional development,

– to possess one of the following internationally recognized certificates of knowledge of the English language not older than two years:

a) TOEFL with at least 74 points,

b) IELTS with at least 6 points,

c) ILEC (ILEC) (Cambridge English: Legal) with at least B2 level, d) FCE (Cambridge English: First) – passed,

e) BULATS with at least 60 points or f) APTIS – at least B2 level (B2) and – active knowledge of computer programs.

In addition to the stated conditions for employment provided by the Law on Balanced Regional Development, the candidate must also fulfill the other general conditions for employment provided by the Law on Labor Relations (be of legal age, actively use the Macedonian language, have general health ability for work place).

Certificate of Citizenship of the Republic of North Macedonia;
Certificate with a final court judgment that he has not been sentenced to a fine or misdemeanor sanction banning him from performing a profession, activity or duty;
Biography (CV);
Certified transcript of certificate-diploma for completed education;
Proof of work experience, copies of documents confirming the acquired work experience;
Internationally recognized certificate of knowledge of the English language not older than two years;
Certificate/diploma for knowledge of computer operations;
Medical certificate as proof of general health status for a job.
The mandate of the Director of the Centre is 4 (four) years, with the right to re-election. The announcement is open for 8 (eight) working days from the day of publication, including the day of publication of the advertisement.
